What is the actual answer here? Seems like I'm missing something as I thought it was simpler than it is?

Not sure how simple the answer is supposed to be? Should I be using more code, like the notes below? Idk

You seem to be overthinking it. You are doing a ton of things the problem never asked you to do.

def suggest(product_idea):
    if len(product_idea) < 3:
        raise ValueError()
    return product_idea + "inator"
