What I am missing here?

I keeping getting a Check Preview error message

When you read the challenge it clarifies

Because of how we test doctests, you'll need to leave a blank line at the end of your doctest before the closing quotes.

So your code would work if you put that blank line in. It's a workspaces thing.

def average(num_list):
    """Return the average for a list of numbers
    >>> average([1, 2]) 
    1.5

    """
    return sum(num_list) / len(num_list)

I had figured it out..

The issue was there was a blank space before "1.5".

I was able to solve the code challenge.

Nonetheless, thank you for responding.
