Python Web Development Techdegree Graduate 14,822 PointsIn this case an instance is a constant or variable that you can assign to some enum value.
enum Day {
case Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
}
Now you can assign some variable or constant to your enum's value using var or let:
var today = Day.Sunday
Now today is an instance assigned to enum value.
Then you can also reassign your (already existing) instance to a different value:
today = .Saturday
