What does it mean when you submit your work and it tells you task 1 is no longer passing?

The question ask for me to add a #Symbol and lastName in uppercase and I put: "#lastName".toUpperCase and the tells me that task one (var userName = id.toUppercase());" is no longer passing? I need help.

That usually means you introduced a syntax error.

Since the tasks are re-tested in order, a syntax error will make them all fail, so it will report task 1 first.

In this case, you have an addition operation on the left side of an assignment, which is not allowed. Also remember that variable names should not be put in quotes, a variable should be declared only one time, and the toUpperCase method does not take an argument.
