2,751 PointsWhat does it mean by Check the GPA?
I have gotten the code to display the names and GPAs correctly, but it won't give me credit saying I need to "check the GPA"
<?php
$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;
$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;
//Place your code below this comment
//var_dump ($studentOneGPA == "4.0");
if ($studentOneGPA == 'true') {
echo "$studentOneName made the Honor Roll";
}
else {
echo "$studentOneName has a GPA of $studentOneGPA";
}
//var_dump ($studentTwoGPA == "4.0");
if ($studentTwoGPA == 'true') {
echo "$studentTwoName made the Honor Roll";
}
else {
echo "$studentTwoName has a GPA of $studentTwoGPA";
}
?>

Treehouse TeacherHi there, Mason Butts! The "Bummer" message issued actually says this:
Bummer: You need to check that $studentOneGPA is equal to 4.0
Right now, you're checking if their GPA is equal to the string 'true', but you should be checking if it's equal to the floating point number 4.0.
So, instead of:
if ($studentOneGPA == 'true')
It needs:
if ($studentOneGPA == 4.0)
This is true for both $studentOneGPA and $studentTwoGPA.
Hope this helps!
