Hey Aditya,

Basically, Craig is just giving a very quick overview of how the computer processes and stores information. Computers only know one language and that is Binary. Everything is stored in a bit, and a bit is either a one or a zero. When you flip a bit, you are either changing it to a one(on) or changing it to a zero(off). Think of a light switch, you can flip it on or you can flip it off.
