What am I doing wrong?

So I can't seem to get this to work for the challenge 2. Any help why?

com/example/BlogPost.java
package com.example;

import java.util.Date;

public class BlogPost {
    private String mAuthor;
    private String mTitle;
    private String mBody;
    private String mCategory;
    private Date mCreationDate;

    public BlogPost(String author, String title, String body, String category, Date creationDate) {
      mAuthor = author;
      mTitle = title;
      mBody = body;
      mCategory = category;
      mCreationDate = creationDate;
    }

    public String getAuthor() {
      return mAuthor;
    }

    public String getTitle() {
      return mTitle;
    }

    public String getBody() {
      return mBody;
    }

    public String getCategory() {
      return mCategory;
    }

    public Date getCreationDate() {
      return mCreationDate;

Your check is wrong - if(result instanceof Object).

This will always return true, because all objects inherit from Object. Since you have a return statement with the check which always results true, the second part of your code never executes -

if(result instanceof Object)
    {
      return (String)obj;
    }

Also, you shouldn't be checking result in the instanceof comparison. Use the passed in argument obj instead. In the first part, check if it's an instance of String, and for the second part -BlogPost.

Thanks for the response mate, so I've realised the err in my first part and changed it. That works great but I'm still having issues with the second part of the question.
