4,638 PointsWhat about now that we are in 2015? Is Android Studio a good place to start if your a beginner?
The video says that eclipse is more friendly to beginners and that it has more support. However This video is a little old so what about now? I have been using android studio and I love it so far, but I have not used eclipse once.

37,259 PointsYes I think it's highly recommended you stick with Android Studio, I believe all training content for Android from now will be using Android Studio. Hopefully the older courses will be updated/replaced at some point. Most of the basic principles are the same although of course there may be some discrepancy and issues. Android Studio is the official IDE now for Google with Android development, so if you started with Android Studio then stick with it and if there's any issues you can look or ask about them specifically.
