I am confusion.
using System;
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
class Program
{
static void Main()
{
string input = Console.ReadLine();
if (input == "quit")
{
string output = "Goodbye.";
}
else
{
string output = Console.WriteLine("You entered " + input + ".");
}
}
}
}

231,210 PointsHi, confusion. I am information.
I see you fixed the missing declaration of "input" ... now take a look at "output". Things to think about:
- a variable should only be declared or initialized once
- a variable should be declared in the widest scope in which it is used
- a variable can be assigned any number of times
Also don't move any statements, that alters the intended behavior of the code. That WriteLine call needs to go back to where it was. (Hint: that's not one of the lines you need to make changes to).
