Website looks different on other sized screens help

So i have a website. I just have a problem with it. On my screen it looks normal 1920x1280 But on other sized screens it looks different. I think i heard something about i had to put a max-width on the website but i'm not sure. Could someone help me out with this issue :)

There's a bit more to it than setting a single property value. Making your site handle various screen sizes is called "Responsive Design", and there's an entire course here called Responsive Layouts. It's an advanced level course so you might need to work your way up to that one if you don't have prior experience with CSS.
