Hello! If I were to use a different web hosting site like GoDaddy, would the process be the same? Is the site that you are recommending good for someone looking for set up a longterm blog? Thank you!

7,882 PointsAll web hosting companies with have their own methods of applying but they will all follow a similar path.
You certainly don't have to stay with the webHostingForStudents. Shop around for the best deals.
Check out reviews online. You want to go with a company that you trust, that has good website speeds and decent reliability.
Choosing a poor provider can leave your site running slow, always offline and/or suffering from security issues.
Last thing- when checking reviews online remember a lot of them are paid affiliates so make sure you check something that you know is independent and has hundreds or thousands of reviewers reviewing the hosting company.
