So I'm in the midst of making my own business and at the moment I am gathering up clients. I just finished landing this amazing project for a non-profit organization which I feel will establish my name in my community, but I am having trouble figuring out what I should ask for in return?
The website I am creating for this non-profit organization is free, any ideas in what I should ask for in return?
Thanks

Then nice and politely set yourself up a hostgator reseller's account and earn yourself a modest residual profit as well - in fact, it could be your entire business model. I promise, with your good name and free community advertising, you will take your local competition this way.
Hosting = $15/month in profit x 200 customers = $3,000 in passive income whether you get a contract or not. I'm sure there's much more than 200 customers in your area, yes?
