I have the same problem. Waiting doesnt help sadly.

I have the same problem, been trying to get pass this step for a whole day without succes. I've tried and read 100 different things. Nothing seem to help

default: Warning: Connection timeout. Retrying...

Actualy it looks like it's an issue with 64 bit virtual on a 32 bit machine

Yes - that seems to be the problem on my end - My machine (cpu) does not allow me to run a 64bit virtual machine. Which results in endless connection without succes

I've seen this happen when the virtual machine is still booting up in the background and vagrant tries to connect to it.

It might be a matter of letting it sit for a bit. It takes my virtual machine a minute or two to boot up completely and then the error message goes away.

Thanks for your reply, I'll try and see if it works.
