Using validation with form submission

Hello, I am trying to find a way to check for validation that the pilot and co-pilot names should be strings and the fuel level and cargo mass should be numbers. How could I incorporate that to create an alert to notify the user to enter correct inputs here is my work: https://repl.it/@karlylamm1/Launch-CheckList-Form

Hi! You can use the "typeof" operator to check the type of the variables.

console.log(typeof 42); // expected output: "number"

console.log(typeof 'blubber'); // expected output: "string"
