Using console.log() in app.js

Just an observation.....when using console.log() in app.js an error was thrown in Google Chrome dev tools console, so I used document.write() instead. The error I was getting was "Uncaught ReferenceError: Console is not defined at app.js:1" The Hello message now displays on the RSVP page using document.write() My text editor is Notepad++ and using Chrome browser v68.

Hi Barry,

Make sure you are using lowercase for your console.log statement. From your error it looks like your are using uppercase Console.log. JavaScript is case sensitive.

console.log("Hello from app.js");

Hi Dale

You're right. I used an uppercase "C" It works now using the lowercase "c".

Thanks.

my app.js file is on the parent and i typed console.log("Hello from app.js"); yet its not connecting and giving me error: "Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received."

What does this mean?
