Python Python Basics Meet Python Using Input

Use the favorite_color variable in your print function to output the following message to the screen

using_input.py
favorite_color=input("what is your favorite color? ")
print("the color," purple "is a great color!")

If you want to pass the literal strings and the variable to the "print" statements as separate arguments, you need to place commas between them.

Also remember that the variable you created is named "favorite_color", not "purple".

I did the above code for this challenge, why am I getting a syntax error?

You need concatenation operators ("+") on either side of favorite color to combine it with the strings..
