Updating Android content any time soon?

I've noticed there are several courses in the Beginner Android Development track that are starting to get a little dated. In particular, I just started the Build a Weather App course. The version of Android Studio being used in the course is 1.0 RC 2. I'm up to 2.3.3 on Ubuntu.... that's quite a bit of a gap in versions. Also, it's a bit concerning that the latest discussion on this course was posted over 2 years ago. That tells me there are very few, if any, people taking this course and I'm not likely to get any help from "fellow students" if I end up needing it. I'm just starting the course, but I'm skeptical as to how much use it's going to be for me. I know you folks are putting out new content all the time, but letting content become irrelevant is probably as bad as not putting out new content.

We hear you! Apologies for the old content, although students are working through it still with success. We're here to help, despite the age of posts in the forum! I'm sure there are newer ones--maybe just on different steps.

We will update these courses for newer versions, but it was on my list to do and I am unable to spend much time recording with my duties as a manager on the teaching team. Ben Deitch is turning to focus on refreshes soon, but I've asked him to also spend some time on some SQL and Data Analysis material.

Totally agree with you.
