Unity freeze right now i´m using the 5.6.0f3 version....

my editor gets freeze when I use the play button (not infinite loop ) just following the instruction from Nick on treehouse....is this a bug og the Unity version?

It could be a bug or something wrong with your installation. For now my suggestion would be to update your Unity to 5.6.1f1 which is the newest release at the time of this post.
