So I'm working on this relatively basic problem and just adding inputs to the <li> tags in index.html. For some reason, the checker is not accepting the inputs. I know it works since the preview shows the checkboxes showing up.
Of course the issue is in the fact that my code is not exactly what is wanted; however, for the life of me, I can't figure out what is being done wrong. The prompt was:
Inside the jQuery each() method, use prepend() to add an '<input type="checkbox"/>' to the beginning of each list item. Use the this keyword, so the callback function doesn't need any arguments.
Thanks!

47,913 PointsYour code should actually work. Great job! I think the error you're seeing is actually a bug in the challenge checker, and it's failing to parse your code properly. I'd send an email to support to let them know about it. However, when I removed the $()
around the input
element in your code, and just passed that string directly to the prepend
method, the challenge let me through just fine.
