true/false capitalization

Why do true and false need to be capitalized? Also, is there a difference between bool and BOOL?

The type-definitions of bool to BOOL comes from the objc.h header file. Basically the bool is used in C and BOOL is used in Objective-C.

Both maps to the same type internally.
