I have run this code several times and can't see where the error is... if anyone can give me a hit this would be great.
many thanks M
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are:{}.".format(sundaes)
display_menu = "Our available flavors are:{}." .format(", ".join(sundaes))

17,759 PointsI think it has to do with the question, this is one you have to take literally. I have had this loads of times so don't worry, frustrating but good!
Your code is correct just in the wrong order.
It is looking for the menu variable to have the list so menu has to equal" Our available flavors are: banana split, hot fudge, cherry, malted, black and white."
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are:{}."
display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)
menu = menu.format(display_menu)
Now try and do the bit where its all in one line!
Go for it!
