JavaScript Interacting with the DOM Traversing the DOM Traversal Review

Traversing to the parent element?

I'm not understanding why my answer is incorrect. The question asks to travers to the parent element of the remove me variable. I'm fairly confident the answer is

const parent = removeMe.parentNode;

Am I missing syntax that I'm not aware of or misunderstanding the question?

It's the correct answer. Try submitting it again. But do let us know what the error message says if you keep getting error messages. :-)

That worked! Thank you Jonathan and Toheeb!
