role.toUpperCase inside the msg string is not working,
let firstName = 'Tony'
let lastName = 'Bhebhe'
let role = 'developer';
msg = firstName + ' ' + lastName + ':'+ role.toUpperCase() + '.';

Add another line with:
console.log(msg);
I think you will see your code works.
You may wish to add a space between your lastName and your role.toUpperCase()

let msg = `${firstName} ${lastName}: ${role}`;

Treehouse Moderator 27,696 PointsThe challenge doesn't require you to use this method. Are you just practicing?
