Not sure what else I'm missing.
import datetime
import pytz
starter = pytz.utc.localize(datetime.datetime(2015, 10, 21, 23, 29))
def to_timezone(Pacific):
Pacific = pytz.timezone('US/ Pacific')
return starter.astimezone(Pacific)

Treehouse Moderator 68,441 PointsHey Jake Williams, youβre really close. The assignment to Pacific
is overwriting the argument passed in. The minimal fix is:
- replace the string literal argument with the parameter name
Pacific
Once this works, you might also want to consider alternative variable names for cleaner code readability. For example, the time zone string passed in might not be βPacificβ. Other variable name choices might be tzone_str
and pytz_zone
Post back if you need more help. Good luck!!!
