This seems simpler.

I found this when Googling for getting a random element out of an array.

@IBAction func showFact() { funFactLabel.text = factProvider.facts.randomElement()! }

It seems to work. Is there something wrong with this method?

Can you link to the quiz or video that you’re on? I’m not entirely sure what you’re supposed to be doing, but based on the code you supplied, I’ll say that though it’s working, you shouldn’t be force unwrapping randomElement. Instead, you should safely unwrap.
