Hi Jason Perez I'm not sure which specific part confused you, if you could elaborate? I did notice from your code however that you're using section tags that you don't need, for example:

   <header>
  <section>
    <ul>
      <li><a href="#">About</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Work</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Contact</a></li>            
    </ul>
      </section>
      <section>
    <h1>My Web Design &amp; Development Portfolio!</h1>
      </section>
      <section>
    <p>A site featuring my latest work.</p>
      </section>
    </header>

The above doesn't need section tags, these are just semantic tags to group content. The above should be:

   <header>
    <ul>
      <li><a href="#">About</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Work</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Contact</a></li>            
    </ul>
    <h1>My Web Design &amp; Development Portfolio!</h1>
    <p>A site featuring my latest work.</p>
    </header>

Since section is a semantic tag you'd use it to represent an area of content that acts as a self contained section, an example below:

<body>
  <header>The header content</header>
  <main>
    <section>The main content of the page</section>
    <section>Some other related content</section>
  </main>
  <footer>The footer content</footer>
</body>
