There are three list items in the index.html file. We want to be able to enter a 0, 1 or 2 in the text field to embolden

Question

I'm not sure if I understand the question correctly. what I wrote is working in the preview but the answer is wrong.

Hi Calvin! It looks like this challenge is asking to only make one of the laws bold, based on the index the user types into the input field. So if the user types in 0, the first law should be bold. If the user types in 1, the second law should be bold, etc.

The condition you currently have makes all the laws bold:

if (index===0 || index===1 || index===2) { // always true when user types in 0, 1, or 2
  law.style.fontWeight = 'bold';
...

Instead, try comparing the index the user entered with the index for the law you're looping over (i) like this:

if (i === index) {
  law.style.fontWeight = 'bold';
...
