In the case of when a theme developer updates the theme you've made a child of, and adds an awesome feature in the update you'd like to include. In other words, add that to your child theme.
Possible? No need for a a-z step by step, just curious of the difficulty level. Thanks! BTW, this is a great course.

Treehouse Guest TeacherA child theme will automatically inherent any parent theme options so if you update the parent theme you should be able to use that feature in your child theme.
