5,619 PointsThe total due is given multiples of the same number. For ten tickets I received $10101010101010101010.
TICKET_PRICE = 10
tickets_remaining = 100
Output how many tickets are remained use the tickers_remaining variable
print("There are {} tickets remaining.".format(tickets_remaining))
Gather the user's name and assign it to a new variable
name = input("What is your name? ")
Prompt the user by name and ask how many tickets they would like
num_tickets = input("How many tickets would you like, {}? ".format(name)) num_ticket = int(num_tickets)
calculate the price (number of tickets multiplied by the price) and assign it to a variable
amount_due = num_tickets * TICKET_PRICE
Output the price to the screen
print("The total due is ${}".format(amount_due))
What did I do wrong or what should I think of adding? I followed the instructor

231,248 PointsYou're confusing the string variable num_tickets (plural) with the numeric one num_ticket (singular), or you might have intended to use the same variable but have a typo:
num_ticket = int(num_tickets)
this line converts the string response into a number
amount_due = num_tickets * TICKET_PRICE
but this line replicates the original string 10 times
Also, for future postings, be sure to use Markdown formatting to preserve the code's appearance.

977 PointsI think the ten you're using is a string so add a int
