The R class is not working

package com.example.overmind.funfacts;

import android.support.v7.app.AppCompatActivity; import android.os.Bundle; import android.widget.Button; import android.widget.TextView;

} In the R.layout_fun_facts); is giving me an error with the "R". it says that it cannot find symbol and I cannot find the class. Please help thanks.

Luke;

Try doing a Gradle clean and Gradle build, that typically does the trick for me in these instances.

Click on Build->Clean Project and that will perform a gradle clean.

Post back if you're still stuck.

have the same problem. cant even find the generated r class from the project
