The current layout has black text on a white background. Let's change the text color to be white. You will need to add the android:textColor attribute, and copy/paste the Android white value from the RelativeLayout's android:background attribute.
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:background="@android:color/white" >
<TextView
android:id="@+id/textView1"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
android:layout_centerVertical="true"
android:text="Treehouse loves me!"
android:textSize="72sp"
android:background="aandroid:textColor"/>
</RelativeLayout>

3,044 PointsRahul, the directions are asking you to change the text color to white on a background that is also white.
Essentially, all you would have to do is copy-paste the "@android:color/white" attribute into the TextView like so:
android:textColor="@android:color/white"
You can put this attribute between the text & textSize attribute.
The error is stemming from setting the android:background within the TextView - this is not necessary and can be deleted.
