Yep, notes are great... so is Google... and any other resource you feel will help to achieve your goal. In coding, there really is no 'cheating'. Many things will be useful and utilized throughout your coding career. Never be afraid to ask, and never think looking something up is cheating.

There is just so much to learn and so many different ways one thing can be done, that it's pretty much impossible for most coders to remember everything.
Even seasoned and long-time coders will use all sorts of documentation for a project... everything from the official docs to sticky notes with snippets of code, leaning over and asking a friend, and honestly, Google will quickly become a very very well asked 'friend' when coding. Lol.
With repeated use, you will remember many things, but also forget many things that aren't used as often.

10,338 PointsI don't know what to do to be honest, i'm thinking if this degree exam or test is like sitting at a computer screen having to remember all my coding at apply it at that point without looking at notes or google then i dont think i have a chance at passing...
I thought using notes to help me through a topic means i'm not really learning either..
