The columns should break to multiple lines when they're narrower than 300px?

Shouldn't the columns break to multiple lines when they are wider then 300px?

The 300px is flex-basis- and means no smaller than 300px. If the window is not at least double (600px including margins) that wide it will only show 1 column.
it needs to be 600+ to show 3 columns, and 900+ to display 3 columns.
