the code works perfectly fine on my python shell but i always get a "bummer" message on your site.

that's the code and i don't know what's wrong, because it works on my shell...

name = "tom" subject = "treehouse loves {}".format(name) print(subject)

strings.py
name = "tom"
subject = "treehouse loves {}".format(name)

Hi Thomas, just need to capitalize the t, your code is fine :)

name = "tom"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)
