The Beginning Swift Track?

This might be an obvious question but since I want to be an Apple devices programmer I was thinking about starting the 'Beginning Swift' track here on teamtreehouse.com

Is this a good idea for a beginner? Are there other tracks or courses that I should start with?

HI there! I definitely believe that's exactly where you should start. Ultimately, you're looking to make apps eventually and there is a track here for iOS development. Those are also really good. While the iOS development tracks don't assume that you know Swift, they do go pretty quickly (in my opinion) through the basic concepts of the language.

I'm of the opinion that it's better to have a good foundation in the basics of the language before diving into iOS development. I feel like overall you have to backtrack less and review things to get a handle on what you just learned.

Just my two cents! :sparkles:

Great, Jennifer!
