Hi Aleksey Zolo,

You are on the right track, however, your answer is indeed wrong as it isn't resulting in the output that the challenge expects. Let's break this down.

  • Currently, you're code is iterating from 0-99 which will result in 100 not being output
  • You're validating each iteration againsts the$facts array which the challenge isn't asking you to do
  • Your echo statement is too complete, you simply just need to echo the current iteration

Create a FOR loop that displays each number from 1 to 100. Make sure that you DO NOT show 0 and you DO show 100.

So... we have the understanding of a for loop, the next thing we need to do is loop from 1 to 100 without outputting zero. We can accomplish this by starting out iterator at 1, next we check if the iterator is less or equal to 100 which is important since we want 99 & 100 to both appear in the output. Finally, we simply echo out the current iterator (the number in this case).

You were on the right track but overcomplicated your answer with the IF statement and had your iterator start one whole number too low.

for ($i = 1; $i <= 100; $i++) {
  echo $i;
}

Happy coding!
