41 PointsTextarea should not be able to resize.
Textarea should not be able to resize. When user text area more only height of the form should increase and there should not be any scrollbar in text field. As, it happens in the form of treehouse "Ask a Question".

8,712 PointsTo disable manual resizing of a textarea, just give it the following CSS property:
resize: none;
To have the textarea resize automatically to fit the text inside, you have to use javascript - preferably jQuery. CSS cannot do this.
$("#my_textarea").height( $("#my_textarea")[0].scrollHeight );
Here's a simple demo: https://jsfiddle.net/yq77jgmy/
