as far as i can tell i am not affecting the code in task one which was use split to create the sundae list, so is this a bug or should i code this differently
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')

Treehouse TeacherHi there! You're doing terrific, but you've stumbled onto the most common reason for "Task 1 is no longer passing". You have introduced a syntax error which means that the code can no longer be compiled nor interpreted. But you're so close here, that I think maybe some hints might do the trick!
- First we say what we want as the separator between the items
- Then we use the join method
- We send in what we're separating as the argument to the join method
Example: If I wanted to separate all elements in myList
with "--" I might do something like:
('--').join(myList)
Hope this helps!
