Python Python Basics (2015) Shopping List App Break

task 2 of break

In task 2 of the challenge "Break", I reread the question multiple times, and fixed what I thought the problem was, and it still wont work.

breaks.py
def loopy(items):
    'apple', 'color', 'dog', 'STOP'
    for item in items:
        print(item)
        if item == 'STOP':
            break
        else:
            print(item)
    # Code goes here

1 Answer

That line 'apple', '..... will just cause a sytax error, delete it.

Next, you have print twice

def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        if item == 'STOP':
            break
        print(item)
