task 2 not correct: i entered background-image: linear-gradient(red, orange); and it is incorrect. what is wrong?

no matter what i enter. it doesn't go through. i enter correct values of background-image: linear(); and nothing works.

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
.main-header {
  text: "times new roman";
  background-image: linear-gradient(to top, red, orange);
}
index.html

Hey @Claudia Carranza, Well doneπŸ‘Š, however Task 2 did not ask you to specify any colors inside linear-gradient, a small fix.

Task 2
.main-header{
  background-image: linear-gradient()
}

What Task 4 should look like.
.main-header{
  background-image: linear-gradient(to top, steelblue, darkslateblue 90%)
}

this is very misleading and i have lost 3 days on this. the instructions, comments and hint all imply adding color values for the gradient to work. i also had to delete the previous task's code to get through the second task. that is very different from what the instructions say of adding additional code and does not follow the way all previous challenges have worked.

in any case, thank you for clarifying and providing the answer to complete the task.
