Task 2 in last code challenge.

Using the value of counter as an index value, retrieve each value from the array and add it to the value of sum.

I have this from 1st task so far:

let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9] var sum = 0 var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count { counter += 1 }

loops.swift
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

// Enter your code below
while counter < numbers.count {
    counter += 1
}

while counter < numbers.count { sum += numbers[counter] counter += 1 }

All the challenge is asking you to do is take the current loop value, which is counter and use that as the index in the numbers array. You are to then add that value to the sum. Also, don't forget the += operator because without it the sum will simply be 9 after your loop finishes.

let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count {
  sum += numbers[counter]
  counter += 1
}
