Tried many different locations for Math.floor and even created a new var: var (temperature) = Math.round (37.5); alert (temperature); var (test) = Math.floor (37.5); alert (test);

28,558 PointsYou are doing it incorrectly, though it could be argued that allowing your code to pass task 1 was by itself a bug. As your code did not act in the way the challenge intended.
You are not supposed to change the temperature variable from its starting value of 37.5. You are meant to use the Math.round and Math.floor methods directly in the alert function, not on the variable assignment. Like this:
var temperature = 37.5;
alert(Math.round(temperature)); //alert with temperature rounded
alert(Math.floor(temperature)); //alert with temperature floored
