Syntax Error for the "if guess" line when I copy this code verbatim (minus the comments) into Workspaces.

I'm getting a SyntaxError when I copy the code verbatim (minus # comments) into Workspaces, on the following line (line 8 when you put it in without # comments):

if secret_num == guess:

What's wrong with it?
