Need syntax

Name.java 
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named consoleimport java.io.Console;

public class Introductions {

    public static void main(String[] args) {
        Console console = System.console();
        // Welcome to the Introductions program!  Your code goes below here
      string firstname = "Nithin";
        console.printf("Hello %s here\n");

The data type "String" needs to be capitalized like so, and your variable name is not camelcase when you declare it..

string firstname = "Nithin";

// Should be...
String firstName = "Nithin";

...but it is camelcase when you call it below.

console.printf ("%s learning Java\n", firstName);
