The data type "String" needs to be capitalized like so, and your variable name is not camelcase when you declare it..

string firstname = "Nithin";

// Should be...
String firstName = "Nithin";

...but it is camelcase when you call it below.

console.printf ("%s learning Java\n", firstName);
