Python Python Basics Functions and Looping Raise an Exception

Suggestinator

It keeps coming back with an indentation error on the Return line but I tried every indentation I could.

suggestinator.py 
def suggest(product_idea):
    product_idea = ("Enter product name.  ")
    if len(product_idea) < 3:
        raise ValueError("product name should have 3 or more characters")
    return product_idea + "inator"

Here is your main problem

AssertionError: 'Enter product name.  inator' != 'baconinator'
- Enter product name.  inator
+ baconinator
 : I passed in 'bacon' and expected 'baconinator', but got 'Enter product name.  inator'

product_idea is passed in to the function. You don't need to try to prompt for it yourself. So delete this line:

product_idea = ("Enter product name.  ")

and you should be good

That code runs when I try it. My best guess is that you have an invisible character there. Try deleting the line completely and reentering it.
