CSS CSS Basics (2014) Understanding Values and Units Styling the Intro Paragraph

Stuck on "Finally, create a new rule that removes the underline from all unvisited links on the page."

I've read through the answers and the correct one seems to be "a:link { text-decoration: none; }" but when I type that I get the error, "Bummer! Make sure you're removing the text decoration from 'a:link'."

My CSS sheet is as follows:

/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */ .intro { font-size: 1.25em; line-height: 1.6;
}

.intro span { font-weight: bold; Font-style: italic;

a:link{ text-decoration:none; }

What am I missing here?!?!?

You are missing a closing brace } on the .intro span rule:

.intro {
  font-size: 1.25em; 
  line-height: 1.6;  
}

.intro span {
  font-weight: bold;
  Font-style: italic;
} /* <- This was missing in your code. */

a:link {
  text-decoration: none;
}

If you add that then your code will pass.

Looks like you capitalized the font-style attribute. It should be:

/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
.intro {
  font-size: 1.25em;
  line-height: 160%;
}

.intro span {
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;
}

a:link {
  text-decoration: none;
}
