stuck!!!

I think my code is good ?? help what is wrong???

    'ACTIVE',

    'FINISHED',

]

states.remove(5)

Hi there! You've overwritten the original value of states with your own array of the same name. Only one line needs to be removed to pass, but one line is unnecessary. If I simply remove these two lines of code, it passes both steps:

states = [ 'ACTIVE', ['red', 'green', 'blue'], 'CANCELLED', 'FINISHED',  ]
x = ['red', 'green', 'blue']

On a side note, it's a good idea to avoid doing things that are not explicitly asked for by the challenge. Even if functional, it can cause the challenge to fail.
