string compare not working. any tips?

Don't use the System.exit() method within the code challenges would be my tip.

Explicitly telling the program to exit is not really necessary if you are at the last line of the program (Since the program automatically exits when it has run through your code), and it also causes the code checker that actually verifies your code to exit before it is done running its code.

Removing that method will allow you to pass on to task 2, since the rest of your code is correct.
