Python Python Basics Functions and Looping Create a Function

squaring.py

def square(number): value = number*number return (value)

user_inp = input("Enter a number") answer = square(user_inp)

print("The square root of {}".format(answer))

You've created the function ok. The next part of the challenge wants you to call the function, pass in 3 as an argument and store the result in a variable named result. You don't need to prompt for input or print anything.

Thanks for the help Kris :)
