Size of logo on website

Hi,

I am wondering how big should I make the logo in illustrator or inkscape (matter of fact any program) to display on personal website or customer website. I couldn't find a concrete answer by googling around. Basically a logo that would display on the full width header in inline with navigation.

It should be larger than the navigation list, but not so large that it effects the overall visual hierarchy of the site. It all comes down to the overall design. Make it a size that looks good for your purposes.
